Quick-Action Line Blind Concept

For all ONIS Quick-Action Line Blinds, the flange spreading operation is performed under the same conditions as for spectacle, slip and Figure-8 blinds.

The pipe must be depressurized before starting the blinding operation.
Two forged half-bodies are spread thanks to a lever (or gearbox) in order to allow the displacement of a slide gate designed with a full-bore and a blind position.
Once the slide gate is in the desired position, the lever (or gearbox) is operated the opposite way to clamp the two-half bodies.

Mechanical concept

Onis Line Blinds physically spread the pipe. All Onis Line Blinds moving parts are outside of the process, and there is no flow reduction in the pipe and no room for product build-up. The bodies of Onis Line Blinds are made from solid forgings and are not welded flanges. Onis offers a one year warranty (additional upon request). Installation support and on-site training for operators and maintenance personnel are also available.
